Melbourne to celebrate New Years Eve with fun and fireworks

Dandenong, in the south east of Melbourne, will be producing a firework spectacular to bring in 2017 on New Year’s Eve, following a number of activities calculated to entertain and involve the whole family.

The fireworks will be released from the rooftop of the multi-deck car park on Walker Street. Visitors to the event will be able to enjoy performances by live and wandering entertainers, as well as having the opportunity to take part in workshops and other activities or enjoy carnival rides and games. Food and drink will be available during the event, and stall holders will be marketing their wares.

Entertainers will include the Melbourne-based Barely Standing duo, the Rhythm of Life African Drumming, and the band Party Animal. Activities for visitors of all ages will include face painting, an animal farm, and workshops on drumming and crafts. Jumping castles, a carousel and carnival games will also be offered for a small fee.

It is probable that poster printing, Signs and Flyers will be placed around the area advertising the event. Stall holders and artists may have Promotional Products on offer.

The activities will begin on New Year’s Eve, Saturday December 31, at 6:00 pm with the fireworks to be displayed at 9:25 pm at the Dandenong Civic Centre at Harmony Square on Lonsdale Street.
