A celebration in honour of a major Hindu festival will take place in Melbourne CBD this year.
The Victoria capital will soon present an event called the Melbourne CBD Holi Festival of Colours. Featuring live music and colourful displays, the upcoming festivities are for Holi, an important event on the Hindu calendar that signifies the end of winter and start of springtime symbolised by the triumph of good forces over evil.
Festival organisers sometimes work alongside specialist poster printing services that can create attractive advertisements that feature key themes and perfectly suit events.
Those attending the weekend festival will see Melbourne’s city skyline aglow with coloured powder and the air filled with non-stop beats designed for dancing. A diverse array of Indian cuisine will be on offer to sample, and a wide range of entertainment will be present to please the crowds.
Designed as a family-friendly event, all ages are welcome and free admission is offered to everyone who wishes to take part. There is likely to be a high number of people attending, with thousands typically participating in this cultural celebration each year.
The Melbourne CBD Holi Festival of Colours will run from Saturday, March 14 to Sunday, March 15. The event starts at 12 pm and ends at 11 pm on both days of the festival, which is taking place on Lawn 4 of Treasury Garden in East Melbourne.
