The Melbourne City Photo Walk starts at the State Library and ends at the Southbank. Participants require a camera with zoom attachments, and novices or those with any skill level are welcome to join the group. Limited to six students, two teachers will walk with the participants, showing how to make regular travel photos into something special by using artistic framing and composition techniques. A review from a recent attendee said:
“The class was well structured and I am overwhelmed with how much knowledge I learnt in just three hours.”
All teachers are professional photographers with a TAE Cert 4, and have many years of experience leading photography classes. Alwyn Hanson, the facilitator, also writes an informative blog on the Alwyn’s Music School Website, including guides such as ‘Choosing the Best Software for Images’ and ‘A Quick Guide to Light Painting’.
Flyer printing in the locality can be used to attract potential customers to events like this.
