Fuji Xerox flagship printer from Alloys

The non-traditional IT distribution company, Alloys, has now launched its latest Fuji Xerox flagship printer named the “Phaser 7800”. The printer is directed at the business and pro-graphics A3 colour area, and is meant to replace the Phaser 7760.

With Pantone colour collaborations as a standard feature and media flexibility allowing for printing on 350gsm, the idea is to give creative professionals a tool to execute Stationery printing and other printing services in-house, achieving commercial quality without having to rely on expensive outsourcing.

A review from Digital Graphic Supplies quotes a representative from Fuji Xerox saying:

“The Fuji Xerox Phaser 7800 is ideal for designers, photographers and creative professionals from every industry.”

Alloys is confident that no printer can match the capabilities of the Phaser 7800, calling it “a new gold in colour printing” on their Twitter feed. “Fast process, amazing paper handing, spectacular colour” is how they described it on their tweet.

According to the Fuji Xerox site, the printer achieves a resolution of true 1200 x 2400 dpi printing, can achieve Print speeds of up to 45ppm (A4) and has the first page out in as fast as 9 seconds.

This ‘new standard’ in printing technology will be available for purchase at $7999+GST. The printer is on display in both their Melbourne and Sydney show rooms, so printing experts can check out the quality for themselves and determine whether they truly agree with Alloy’s statement that this printer is raising the bar for printing companies in Melbourne, Australia and the world.
