Extreme sport films set to take adrenalin junkies to new heights

The adrenalin will be pumping for audience members at this year’s Radical Reels Tour.

The RMIT Capitol Theatre in Melbourne, Victoria, will host the event, which is set to take those attending on a wild journey of exciting twists and turns experienced by some of the world’s most elite sportsmen and women.

The rare collection of outdoor sport films was established as an offshoot of the famed Banff Mountain Film Festival International Tour, and features some of the most adrenalin-pumping feats ever filmed of athletes competing in a wide range of sports.

A new sport or fresh approach to an already established event are considered high priorities for judges when finalising the list of films to be included on the popular tour. Each film must also push the right buttons for the growing number of adrenalin junkies across the nation.

Eight action-packed films will be showcased in this year’s line-up, including the skills of mountain bikers manoeuvring down slim mountain paths and performing jumps while travelling at speed in the film Not Bad.

Another that will be presented during the tour program is Heaven’s Gate, which features wingsuit pilot Jeb Corliss.

Poster and flyer printing have been enlisted to advertise the event, to be held on November 28th in Melbourne. This will be the final chance for enthusiasts to see these unique films on the 2014 tour, which also visited the Northern Territory, New South Wales, and Queensland.
