Energetic musical improviser bound for Melbourne CBD

Fans of wacky, improvised songs and comedy in the Melbourne CBD area will most likely wish to buy tickets for Marc Rebillet in January.

Rebillet is a French-American YouTube and electronic artist, born in 1988, and is in a constant state of improvisation during live shows, ensuring that no two of his shows are ever the same. Classically trained, Rebillet had jobs such as a waiter and a call centre operator before his career started in earnest in 2016 when he started publishing live streams and YouTube videos of himself, often dancing in his underwear. Rebillet uses requests from his fans to create new live material. His first live shows began in 2017 in Dallas, Texas; thereafter he moved to NYC. Rebillet uses a loop station so that he can record and play all instruments which he overlays with his voice, including comedy skits over elements of soul, funk, hip hop and house. In 2020, Clubbing TV named him a top live streaming DJ, and said:

“No one can make you laugh and dance like Marc Rebillet.”

Flyer printing is one of many ways in which promoters of music events reach a local audience.

Marc Rebillet is playing at The Forum, 154 Flinders Street, Melbourne, VIC, from Wednesday 25th until Saturday 28th January from 7.30pm. Tickets start at $59.90.
