The Faulty Towers Dining Experience, launched by interactive Theatre International, is a largely improvised comedy spectacle where the unexpected often happens. The concept has been a hit all over the world, with the Melbourne Observer calling it:
“A kooky but brilliant concept.”
This is London refers to the experience as:
“A rip-roaringly hilarious night.”
Interactive Theatre International was set up by Alison Pollard-Mansergh in 1997 in order to provide truly immersive theatre where the audience can choose to participate so that a shared experience brings joy and a distraction from daily life. Other shows by the company include ‘Confetti and Chaos’, ‘Only Fools The (cushty) Dining Experience’ and ‘Pamela’s Palace’. For children aged six to ten, the company perform an interactive show called ‘Roald Dahl and the Imagination Seekers’.

The Faulty Towers Dining Experience takes place at the Stamford Plaza, Melbourne, on 16th and 17th December, starting at 7pm. Tickets cost $113, to include a three-course dinner and a two hour interactive show.
