An evening of nostalgic music scheduled for Melbourne CBD

Some of the most popular pop performers of the 1990s will be joining together in Melbourne CBD for an evening of live music.

Inner Sauce will be presenting three bands from the 1990s, namely D:Ream, CeCe Peniston and Snap!, with the aim of bringing an evening of nostalgia and dancing to its audience.

D:Ream are a UK band, probably best known for their chart topper Things Can Only Get Better, which was adopted as the anthem for the new Labour Party under Tony Blair in the late 1990s.

The Snap! original vocalist, Penny Ford, is known for anthems such as Rhythm is a Dancer and The Power.

CeCe Peniston’s best known song is likely to be Finally, a popular song that also featured in the film and stage show of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

In addition, DJ Pdula is due to support the line-up with classic tunes that will encourage attendees to sing and dance along to their favourite dance floor anthems. Pdula is from Melbourne and is also a musician and producer, presenting the weekly Big Sun Radio show.

Music nights are often advertised within the local community by means of poster printing.

Snap!, Cece Peniston and D:Ream will be appearing at The Forum in Melbourne on Saturday, 12th April, from 7.30 pm. Tickets cost from $110.85.
