Acclaimed singer and entrepreneur to speak in Melbourne

Businesswomen from Melbourne are being invited to unleash their creativity as the local Business in Heels group holds its last evening event of the year.

Business in Heels is a free to join networking organisation designed to connect female entrepreneurs from any industry with other businesswomen locally and internationally.

The Melbourne CBD branch is marking the festive season with a presentation from singer and media personality Tania De Jong, who will be discussing how to become more creative in life and business.

Tania is a well-known soprano singer and works with community groups and marginalised people to help them develop networks through joining a choir, as well as helping disadvantaged children develop their creativity. She also runs Creative Universe, which aims to help companies becomes more innovative. She has won numerous awards and was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2008 for services to the arts as a performer and an entrepreneur.

Anyone attending the event should take plenty of Business Cards to swap with others and to win a door prize. There will also be a prize for the prettiest pair of heels.

The event takes place on Monday, November 16, from 7:00 pm at Left Bank on Southbank Boulevard. The evening is open to both members and nonmembers, and tickets can be purchased through the Business in Heels website.
