Residents of Greensborough might want to enter into the Christmas spirit with a spot of carol singing and afternoon tea, along with the opportunity to shop for last minute gifts.
At the Carols and Afternoon Tea event, popular singer Dame Cara Lynn will be leading the singing as she performs a repertoire of hits from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s, with Christmas carols added to the mix. Popular carols may include Hark the Herald Angels Sing, O! Come All Ye Faithful and Away in a Manger.
Attendees can join along with the singing if they wish and partake of a welcome afternoon tea. This is billed as a family-friendly event to which those going along are invited to bring a plate of something to share.
Additionally, there will be a pop-up gift shop that will be useful for last minute Christmas shopping.
Community events are often promoted locally as Print shops produce advertising materials to be displayed.
Carols and Afternoon Tea will be taking place on Wednesday, 18 December from 2pm until 3pm. The venue is the Stage Room at Greenhills Neighbourhood House, which can be found at 2 Community Drive, Greensborough. This event is free to attend and is the last one of the year.
