An event designed to help men who care for those with autism connect with their peers is running at a bar, café and restaurant in Greensborough.
Males in the area who look after partners, children or other family members who have autism can attend a gathering taking place in the suburb this spring. Dubbed “Greensborough Blokes”, the event is presented by neurodivergent specialist, Different Journeys.
The informal meeting will let attendees socialise with others in their situation over dinner and drinks.
An Australia-based charitable organisation founded in 2016, Different Journeys offers community programmes, peer support and opportunities for social connection for people with autism and those who care for them without pay.

Greensborough Blokes will now be held at Urban Grooves on Wednesday, October 28 at 6 pm. The bar and eatery can be found at 99 Grimshaw Street in Greensborough, and admission is $25, which includes a main course and a drink.
