An animated film is set to be shown at a cinema in Greensborough that combines comedy with science fiction.
Fans of 3D animation in Greensborough can catch a new movie called “Hoppers”. The latest collaboration between Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios is headed for the suburb for screenings in autumn and features an ensemble of famous actors supplying their voices. These include Meryl Streep (Insect Queen), John Hamm (Mayor Jerry Generazzo), Piper Curda (Mabel Tanaka), Dave Franco (Insect King) and Bobby Moynihan (King George).
Film production companies often rely on experienced poster printing services to create engaging advertisements for their titles that list crew and cast members for audiences.
Penned by Jessie Andrews with direction from Daniel Chong, the animated film follows Mabel Tanaka, an animal lover whose mind is scientifically transferred into a robot that looks just like a real beaver. The cutting-edge process is part of a plan to help save the beavers’ habitat from being destroyed with clear human to animal communication.
Work started on the film in 2020, and it enjoyed a red-carpet premier earlier this year ahead of its general release.
Hoppers will now be on screen at Hoyts Cinema on Friday, March 20. The cinema is situated at 25 Main Street in Greensborough, and there will be a showing at 4.15 pm and 6.50 pm.
