Greensborough residents to enjoy eco event

A festival focused on ecology is being held near Greensborough in autumn.

Environmentally friendly citizens of Greensborough can take part in an event called “EcoFest 2026” later this year. The single day event is running just five kilometres away in the neighbouring suburb of Montmorency and is now encouraging all residents from locations across the City of Banyule to attend.

Those organising events supporting sustainability often work with forward-thinking banner printing services that can produce signage made from recycled materials that are easily compostable.

The upcoming festival is a pet-friendly occasion that lets guests bring along their four-legged family members on the day. Highlights of the autumn event include a selection of gardening activities, animal related and eco-friendly workshops, spaces set up for creative and crafting, educational sessions, professional tricks and tips from experts, live demonstrations and information on ways to become a more responsible pet owner.

The Eco Festival is now happening at Petrie Park on Sunday, March 15. The popular greenspace is in easy reach of Greensborough on Mountain View Road in Montmorency.

Ahead of the event, organisers are offering tailored sponsorship opportunities to local businesses in the area. Companies participating can build business relationships with other firms and connect with their local community to help boost their profile and gain exposure with a more diverse audience in the area.
