A show dedicated to a globally famous US entertainer will soon be on stage at a social club in Greensborough.
Greensborough residents with a passion for American music can check out a tribute concert called “The Ultimate Neil Diamond Experience”. The evening invites Diamond fans to enjoy a live band performing his best-loved hits with an opportunity for dinner beforehand.

The music of Neil Diamond has proved exceptionally popular in Australia. Back in 1972 his live LP “Hot August Night” was so well received it reached number one and spent many weeks in the charts. Four years later he showed his appreciation with a nationwide tour and a special performance at the Sydney Sports Stadium called the “Thank You Australia Concert”. This year, a musical based on his life, called “Beautiful Noise” also premiered in Melbourne with an all-Australian cast.
Guests on the night can hear classic tracks which may include “Sweet Caroline”, “Song Sung Blue”, “Cracklin’ Rosie” and “Forever in Blue Jeans” among others.
The Ultimate Neil Diamond Experience will be live at Greensborough RSL on Friday August 14. Dinner is served from 7 pm with the show starting at 8.30 pm. The club is at 111 Main Street in Greensborough.
