A community group in Greensborough is holding a special crafts event to celebrate the shortest day and longest night of 2026.
The Healing Academy Australia is inviting residents to welcome the winter solstice at the upcoming event in the suburb. In a day dedicated to community and healing, participants will learn how to craft a sacred medicine drum to take home.
Academies and institutions running workshops in arts and crafts sometimes look to professional brochure printing services that can create well-designed Booklets that explain the activities taking place.
The event in Greensborough is led by Connie Rose of the Healing Academy, who will help attendees craft a medicine drum of their own. The drums are described as being personal tools for connection and healing, and all materials for crafting will be provided.
An inclusive event, the workshop is open to both women and men. While morning and afternoon tea will be provided, those attending are asked to bring a plate of food with them to share with others at lunchtime.
The “Crafting Your Own Sacred Medicine Drum” event will run at Greenhills Neighbourhood House on Sunday, June 21. The winter solstice celebrations start at 10.30 am and end at 8 pm, with the venue based on Community Drive in Greensborough.
Admission to the event is $599 per person.Get a Free Quote for Booklets
