Comedy fans who live in and around Greensborough might be keen to buy tickets to see UK’s Paddy McGuinness’s standup tour.
The Nearly There tour is McGuinness’s first standup tour for eight years and the dates in Australia precede 40 dates in the UK. Often, fans are drawn to shows by the use of publicity in the form of local poster printing.
McGuinness first found fame with a leg-up from old school friend and revered UK comedian Peter Kay. He appeared with Kay in That Peter Kay Thing, Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere. He then went on to host several television shows such as I Can See Your Voice, Take Me Out and Question of Sport. He currently presents a Sunday radio show on BBC Radio 2, in the UK.
With his warm demeanour and recognisable northern accent, McGuinness is a firm fan favourite.
