Housing options for older residents to be discussed in Greensborough
Residents of Greensborough that are considering housing advice for themselves or those they support may be interested in the Ageing Well Housing Forum, which is being delivered by Banyule Council in March.
Banyule Council is providing a forum for local people so that some aspects of ageing can be addressed and discussed, such as being empowered to stay at home, how local policies address housing needs and financial options that are useful for attendees to know.
During the event, there will be speakers, experts and community leaders that can address important audience queries. There will also be stalls showcasing services and resources available locally, plus ample opportunity for attendees to connect with other residents in similar scenarios.
Pertinent information and contact details that might be useful for those attending the forum may well be produced by using local printing services and distributed at the meeting.
The Ageing Well Housing Forum is taking place on Friday, 14 March, from 8.45 am until 3.30 pm. The venue can be found at Greensborough Customer Service Centre on 1 Flintoff Street.
The event is free to attend, with an all-day pass or single session availability. This can be selected when registering online. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will also be available.
Bookings can be made from this Tuesday, 18 February.
