The Banyule City Council is bringing back Carols by Candlelight 2021 in mid-December.
Unlike previous years, the carols will be streamed on both YouTube and Facebook for those who cannot attend the event in person. Attendees have the option to enjoy a picnic or try some food from the various food trucks that will be onsite, which will be running from 6pm, with options for snacks, food and drinks. The carols will commence at 7pm. Printing services are often used to promote local community events.
As the date of the event gets closer, those interested in the Carols by Candlelight will be given a songbook. They are encouraged to bring along an LED candle as they sing along on the day.
The line-up will consist of 3AW’s Nights host Denis Walter, who will be sharing his brand-new album, Yesterday Once More. Euan Doidge, who has performed in several musicals, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Legally Blonde and Grease, will also be part of the line-up.
Other feature acts will consist of Tayla Coad, the Australian Children’s Choir and the Diamond Valley Brass Band. Kids’ entertainment will be provided by Elf, Santa and Frosty, with Celia Wordsworth as Santa’s little helper.
Carols by Candlelight 2021 will be held on Saturday, 18th December from 6pm to 9pm at the Greensborough War Memorial Park.
