Comedy and dancing come to Greensborough

Fans of a good night out involving music, dancing and comedy in the Greensborough area may be keen to attend the St. Mary’s 90’s Comedy and Disco Fundraising Party Night in August.

The fundraising event is created to support school facilities and involves comedy turns by Geraldine Hickey, who also acts as MC, along with Lewis Garnham and Brett Blake. As well as comedy and space for dancing to a DJ playing 90s tunes, attendees will be entertained by a raffle and a silent auction, with trivia, competitions and a photobooth also in the works. Party goers are encouraged to come in their best 90s-style clothing in the hopes to win a best-dressed award.

Hosts of evens like this sometimes use poster printing displayed locally in order to reach the community in and around a target area.

St. Mary’s School is a Catholic parish school that opened in 1955. The website states that the school believes in:

“The Uniqueness and Dignity of Each Person.”
