Young soccer fans and aspiring players from the Greensborough area may wish to trial for Diamond Valley United in the coming weeks.
Young footballers who successfully trial and join Diamond Valley United will train twice weekly to improve skills so that they can play soccer at a high level. Diamond Valley United is a community club playing a key role in developing youngsters, with an emphasis on fun and a clear path of progression into senior teams. It is clear that the physical development of a child goes hand in hand with mental development and that physical exercise and the camaraderie of a team can really bolster confidence and germinate a lifelong love of sport and fitness.
Diamond Valley United Soccer Club plays home games at Partingtons Flat, Greensborough. The club is an amalgam of Greensborough SC, Heidelberg-Bundoora and Eltham SC and has been around in its current state since 1986. Local Print shops are often used to produce colourful soccer strips that are often annotated with the club badge and sometimes the name of the player on the back.
The Diamond Valley United Soccer Club Trials for u14 and u15 boys are taking place on Tuesdays until 13th December, from 6 until 7pm. The Diamond Valley United Soccer Club is located at Partingtons Flat, Greensborough.
