British musician comes to Greensborough area

As part of his upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand, a musician from Britain’s Barking is bound for Victoria.

The UK’s legendary singer-songwriter Billy Bragg is performing a unique set of shows next year in Melbourne, allowing fans from Greensborough and other areas to enjoy his music in a three-night show. Organisers of international tours often rely on professional printing services to create promotional materials that advertise individual concerts taking place.

The three shows will focus on different parts of Bragg’s impressive career of 35 years. While night one will play a broad selection of tracks spanning all his albums, night two will see him play the songs from his original three releases. The third and final night of the concert series will allow audiences to hear Bragg playing tracks from the recordings he made between 1988 and 1996, like “Don’t Try This at Home” and “William Bloke”.

In a recent interview, the British songsmith commented that he had created the tour format to ensure performances remained interesting to both himself and ticket buyers. He added that during his tour of New Zealand, he’s enjoyed revisiting his back catalogue of tracks.

Billy Bragg will now be on stage at The Forum, located at 154 Flinders Street, in Melbourne from February 3rd to February 4th between 8 pm and midnight.
