Melbourne homeowners who have made a new year’s resolution to renovate in 2014 might want to check out the Pool and Spa Expo being held in the city later this month.
The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre event will feature leading pool and spa companies along with everything else needed to redesign an outdoor space.
The event is organised by the Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Victoria and includes information sessions from industry experts for visitors looking for advice on the best type of pool for their garden.
Everyone who attends will also stand to win one of several door prizes, including a brand new spa and a garden design consultation.
With so many different brands and designs on offer, including several products new to the market, Braeside residents might like to take advantage of catalogue printing so they can look through the wide range in detail and compare models before deciding on their favourite.
This year’s expo also features a novel event, with marathon swimmer Chloe McCardel attempting a world record for the longest continual swim in a free standing swim spa. She is hoping to swim for 18 hours to break the record attempt over two days at the expo. Visitors will be able to watch her swim if they attend on the Saturday between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
The Expo runs from through the weekend of January 31 to February 2, and tickets can be bought in advance from the Association’s website or at the door on the day.
