Car-lovers in the Braeside area can join an event next week organised by the Chrysler Restorers Club of Australia.
This Victoria car club was set up in 1975 by Ron Coombes (the first president), in order that Chrysler owners could socialise and have help and advice from other owners and enthusiasts who shared their passion.
As well as encouraging restoration and preservation, the club maintains records of cars and their owners and is also able to provide technical data and associated literature.
There are monthly social runs, which are usually family oriented, and this year, on Good Friday, the social run takes place in a Braeside park. Alongside other car clubs, Chrysler owners can show off their vehicles while enjoying free hot cross buns and a hot drink. Any donations made on the day will go to benefit the Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Membership clubs sometimes provide Promotional Products such as T-Shirts, hoodies and badges in order to raise funds for the group. Such items may be available to purchase at rallies and meetings.
The Hot Cross Bun Run is taking place on Good Friday at Rosella Oval/Picnic area, Braeside Park, on Lower Dandenong Road, from 10 am until 1.30 pm. The route around the park is one-way for safety considerations. Non-Chrysler owners are also welcome to attend.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for T-Shirts
