WrapCo, a gift wrap manufacturer, was named the ultimate winner at a special ceremony earlier this month, and beat seven other nominees to take the title, including another Braeside-based business, component manufacturer Jodek.
The company will now have a trophy to display at its headquarters along with other prizes. With the announcement, firm bosses might also like to make an order for Stationery printing and other services in the New Year, to include the accolade on Letterheads and Business Cards.
Kingston Mayor Geoff Gledhill said the company had beaten some impressive competitors. He commented:
“All the finalists are helping to strengthen and develop Kingston’s and the south-east region’s thriving business economy and are providing much-needed jobs and innovation.
“WrapCo, Australia's leading designer and manufacturer of gift wrap products, is doing a great job providing local jobs and strengthening local manufacturing and is a worthy winner.”
The Melbourne Business Awards celebrate small and medium-sized enterprises in the Kingston municipality and across the South East. Nominations are made throughout the first half of the year, and the best are chosen by a committee. The finalists give presentations at breakfast events during the year, and are visited by the judges in October before the final winner is announced.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Letterheads Get a Free Quote for Stationery
