Children aged 6 to 10 in the Bayswater area can soon take advantage of a free fishing course in the new year.
At the A.P. Hinds Reserve, located in Riverside Gardens, there will be the opportunity for youngsters to stay SunSmart and learn safe and sustainable fishing methods, casting into the Swan River from a river beach. As part of the 10-Year Foreshore Plan and the Bayswater Foreshore Restoration project, there will be dedicated areas for fishing as funding is released.
Recfishwest is an independent organisation that represents 750,000 recreational fishers in Western Australia, helping to ensure high-quality fishing experiences for all while being involved in large-scale projects that are mindful of the aquatic ecosystem. This also ensures that fisheries are sustainable and can optimise economic and social benefits.
Events that are held to benefit the community like this one are often advertised by utilising poster printing at local Print shops.
