Jon Pinder will be headlining the comedy night, with MC (Master of Ceremonies) services provided by Daniel Delby.
Pinder is now Perth-based. He is also a tattoo artist and a resident comic at the Comedy Lounge. He appears regularly on 96FM’s Botica’s Bunch and hosts a podcast called Kings and Vagabonds. His comedy tends to the observational, and he is known for his quick wit, dry sense of humour and navigating the imponderables of Aussie life.
A review from Chortle reads:
“(Jon)…has a keen comic mind and a sprightly, sparky delivery that energises the room.”
Delby is a professional MC and will be there to ensure that the evening runs smoothly. He is no stranger to comedy himself, because he also does stand-up performances. Multi-talented, he officiates as a celebrant too, writes comedy quizzes and is comfortable with improvisation should the need arise.
Venues that play host to live events often use local printing services in order to advertise widely within the community.
Jon Pinder and his show That Pommy Comedian will be appearing on Thursday, 28 May, from 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm. The venue is the Bayswater Hotel, 78-80 Railway Parade, Bayswater. Tickets cost $25 and doors open at 7 pm.
