Tonsley to host Fringe-inspired Sunday market

People living in the Tonsley area can go along to the Sunday Funday Market, which in February has a Fringe theme to tie in with the Adelaide Fringe Festival. This year it runs from 20th February until 22nd March and is the biggest Arts Festival in the whole of the country.

More than 120 stalls and food traders will be heavily representing small businesses from South Australia, imbuing the event with the spirit of creativity and supporting local companies.

The event is suitable for all the family and will possibly include activities such as hair braiding, cookie decorating, along with many other arts and crafts stations, and live music. It is billed as:

“Adelaide’s family-friendly undercover market event.”

In addition, Tonsley Forest will be home to a fun water-play sensory nature zone and next to Flinders University, the tree-lined lawns will provide a much welcome shady, relaxing space with lawn games for those who wish to be more active.

Stall holders often turn to local printing services in order to produce informative signage, labelling and price lists for their goods and services, as well as printed Menus for food stalls.

The Fringe-Inspired Edition of the Sunday Funday Markets in happening on Sunday 22nd February, from 10am until 3pm, at the Tonsley Innovation District. Entry and car parking is free.
