Macy Gray to play in Adelaide

Fans of soul and R &B might appreciate an evening spent in the company of one of the greatest songstresses of her generation.

Ohio-born Macy Gray played to sold-out venues just two years ago and is now returning for a huge tour of both Australia and New Zealand, to the delight of her fans. Gray is known for her raspy voice and has previously cited Billie Holiday as her main influence.

Gray has sold over 25 million records and has produced ten studio albums over two decades. She has accrued a Grammy Award and two BRIT Awards and has also appeared in films such as Spider-Man, Training Day and Lackawanna Blues. She has always been popular in Australia and New Zealand with her single I Try going to the top of the charts.

Her concert playlist is also likely to include Sweet Baby, Do Something and Still along with songs from her latest album, The Trouble with the Truth.

Promotional Products such as tee shirts, baseball caps and hoodies are often popular items that are available to buy at concert venues to take away as meaningful souvenirs.

Macy Gray Live – The Encore Tour, is taking place on Saturday 12th September, from 7pm. The venue is the Hindley Street Music Hall, Adelaide. Tickets cost from $89, for over 18s only.
