Families from Milton have the chance to make Mother’s Day extra special this year, with popular singer Harrison Craig visiting Brisbane.
The 19-year-old shot to fame after triumphing on the television show The Voice Australia last year, winning acclaim from both viewers and the judges.
The musician, who endeared himself to many during the show with his manners and humble attitude, has always credited his own mother with supporting him through his career and in coping with the stutter that affects him when talking. To celebrate the special day and mark the release of his second album, the singer will perform a series of concerts over the Mother’s Day weekend.
The shows will feature a number of favourites from his time on The Voice, such as You Raise Me Up and Unchained Melody, and songs from his new album LOVE, which was released this month. A signed copy of the album can be purchased at the same time as concert tickets as a memento of the event.
Families could think of creative ways, such as poster printing, to reveal the surprise to mothers they know, while keen fans might like to use banner printing as a way of getting a message across to Craig during the concert.
The concert will take place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday 9th May. Tickets are on sale now.
