An original outdoor event for fans of a famous English recording artist is being held in a Milton park.
Kate Bush devotees can soon join this event, which is called the “Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever”. Designed for fans, it invites residents to recreate the video of Bush’s debut single, which was number one in Australia for three weeks in 1978.
All who come to the event are asked to wear a red dress like the iconic garment Bush wore in the much-loved music video.
Organisers of events of all kinds often rely on flyer printing services for affordable adverts that spread word among the public and boost attendance.
On arrival, attendees will receive instruction on how to execute the right dance moves. After several practice runs, all gathered will perform the routine multiple times together to the song. Other Kate Bush tracks will be played at the community event run by fans, and all joining can take photos as keepsakes of the experience.
The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever will now run in Frew Park on Saturday, July 18. The event will begin at 2 pm and finish at 4 pm, with the park located on Frew Street in Milton.
Donations from the event will cover park expenses and raise much needed funds for the registered charity DVConnect.
