A multi-instrumentalist and blues singer-songwriter from Australia is performing a live set in Milton this year.

Music lovers in the area can enjoy a concert presented by the Lonely Lands Agency in spring. Celebrated Australian bluesman Christopher William (C.W.) Stoneking is playing in the suburb as part of a series of national performances.

Managers of bands and solo artists alike often rely on experienced flyer printing services for hand-to-hand marketing materials that get word of appearances out to the public.

Known for his unique blend of jungle exotica, hokum blues and old-school gospel, Stoneking hails from the Northern Territory and won “Best Blues and Roots Album” at the 2009 ARIA Music Awards for his LP, “Jungle Blues”.

With a sound described as hypnotic and raw, the vocalist, banjo and guitar player’s new tour will take him to major venues and events like the Factory Theatre in Sydney, the Corner Hotel in Melbourne and the Darwin Festival. He will also be visiting remote and rare locations in coastal towns and cities, including a golf club based in New South Wales.

C.W. Stoneking will appear on stage at Milton Theatre on Friday, September 11. Doors to the show will open at 7.30 pm, with a guest support act yet to be announced on stage at 8 pm. The theatre is at 69 Princes Highway in Milton.
