A three-day event dedicated to multiple music genres is being organised in Milton with many local venues taking part.
Music fans in New South Wales can attend the Milton Folk Jazz and Blues Festival this year. The multi-day event will take place all over the suburb in pubs, parks and venues, and features more than 70 free live performances. Designed with accessibility in mind, the festival celebrates music, culture and community.
Festival organisers sometimes team up with Graphic Design Services to create branded promotional materials like Posters, Banners and Flyers that entice the public to get involved.
The festivities in Milton will feature many artists from Australia alongside acts from overseas. Raised on Ray Charles, Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin, vocalist Mahalia Barnes is booked to play, backed by her band The Soul Mates. Known for being one of Australia’s best blues and soul singers, Barnes has made a name for herself abroad at Ronnie Scott’s famous jazz club in London.
Other acts on the billing represent a range of music genres and include Melbourne’s Uncomfortable Science, singer-songwriter JB Paterson, folk trio Apolline, Bluegrass quartet The High Street Drifters, Genevieve Chadwick, The Three Seas, and all the way from Brazil, producer and trombonist Joabe Reis.
The Milton Folk Jazz and Blues Festival will run at more than 20 venues around the city from Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 3.Get a Free Quote for Graphic Design Services Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Banners Get a Free Quote for Posters
