Rugby fans from Milton have their first chance to cheer on the Queensland Reds this month, as the team’s Super Rugby home campaign kicks off.
The first home game of the season will be in the second round on Saturday, February 21st when the Reds meet the Western Force at their Suncorp Stadium base.
Keen fans might like to think about using banner printing to support the team or their favourite player, or perhaps to offer some good-natured ribbing to the opposition.
The Reds go into the regular season with mixed results in the pre-season games and injuries to some key players, including halfback Quade Cooper, who has been ruled out for several months after fracturing his collarbone during a training session in January.
They also start 2015 with a new captain in the shape of James Slipper, who replaces James Horwill, and several new signings as they look to improve on their 2014 season, which saw them finish well off the pace just three places from the bottom of the table.
There will be three more opportunities for supporters to get behind the Reds in March, with Australian derbies against the Waratahs on Saturday, March 7th and the Brumbies on Saturday, March 14th, along with a visit from the South Africa-based Lions on Friday, March 27th.
Tickets for each match are available through the Queensland Reds official website.
