Residents of inner-city Brisbane riverside suburbs, including Milton, can now enjoy a new addition to Sunday morning routines.
The Riverside at The Gardens Market is held every Sunday and attracts visitors from all over Brisbane. Locals have loved the convenience of the markets and have voted with their feet for many years, making it one of Brisbane's most popular Sunday outings.
Now, the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) campus will offer its own market space adjacent to the existing garden market. The QUT InFusion Markets will open every Sunday as an extension to the traditional markets.
The market organisers plan to provide ethically made and locally sourced offerings, arts and craft products, cuisine from across the world and entertainment from culturally diverse performers. Live music will feature throughout the venue, with performers and buskers adding to the atmosphere. Flyer printing is a practical and economic resource for small stallholders attending markets like this to use to advertise and promote their wares.
Opening hours for the market will be from 8.00am to 3.00pm every Sunday, and it is planned to run until the 26th December. The location of QUT is 2 George Street, Brisbane City, and the market will set up along Main Drive on the campus.
