Milton residents will have the opportunity to see the premiere of Hughman in Brisbane this September.
Hughman showcases Hugh Sheridan, known from his role on the Australian television show ‘Packed to the Rafters’, and a team of Australian dancers, in a high-energy performance. Born in Adelaide, Sheridan is a professional dancer and singer, and during the show, he will also display his ability to DJ.
Music from George Michael, Whitney Houston, Olivia Newton-John, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson and Walk the Moon will be performed with tap, cabaret and disco dance styles. The audience can expect a combination of costumes and music, with a light show to finish. The show received positive reviews after being performed during the Adelaide Fringe Festival this year.
Hughman is running as part of BrisFest 2021, which will be taking place from September 3rd to the 25th. The festival is being held to celebrate the personality of Brisbane. It is a festival of many art styles, which will be held along the Brisbane River and at other landmarks within the city.
