Musical collaboration coming to Milton

Two unique musical talents are set to unite soon on a stage in Milton.

The vocal talents of Felicity Urquhart and the guitar playing of Josh Cunningham will combine for a single-night performance at the Milton Theatre. Venues like concert halls, clubs and theatres hosting live music performances sometimes employ flyer printing services to produce eye-catching promotional materials advertising upcoming acts.

In 2020, the two award-winning Australian artists both received invites to become members of the Song Club. The creative musical collective tasks those who answer the call with the challenge of writing a new song in just a week. Cunningham and Urquhart found the endeavour a rewarding experience that gave them so much material that they had enough tracks to make an entire album.

Now, their joint recording will be released through ABC Music on May 7, and those attending the show in Milton will get a chance to hear some of the partnership’s new songs played live.

The original date for the concert was November 20 last year, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, it was necessary to reschedule the event. Between the two of them, the artists have multiple platinum albums, along with ARIA and Golden Guitar awards.

Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham will now play at the Milton Theatre located on 69 Princes Highway, Milton on Saturday, May 14. The show will start at 7.30 pm and end at 10.30 pm.
