Milton to offer electric bike trial

A trial ride is being offered to residents of Milton to try out riding an electric bike.

The ride will be conducted in small groups with the opportunity to try out different types of electric bikes. This is an experience-oriented educational session about a different style of bike riding transport. Many questions participants have can be answered by the electric bike specialist guide.

There are many different types of electric bikes to serve different needs and purposes for the rider. These can include styles such as adventure, comfort, road, commuter, cargo, vintage and retro, children’s and fold up bikes. For residents of Milton and surrounding areas where it is common to have a climate suitable for spending time outdoors, electric bikes can provide a suitable transport alternative to motor vehicles.

It is necessary that participants are confident enough bike riders to ride competently on a bike path in a group setting, and along some small quiet roads. Active events like this can be promoted through poster printing.

Participants will need to book in advance to take part in this event by contacting Electric Bikes Brisbane. The try ride officially begins at 9am on Saturday 18th April at 26 Douglas Street in Milton. It is necessary for participants to provide their own helmet on the day and to arrive by 8:40am to prepare for the ride and check in. The event costs $10 per person.
