Milton restaurants celebrating the World Cup

Australia may have made an early exit, but Milton soccer fans will be able to watch every World Cup match while enjoying food and a fun atmosphere at two local restaurants.

With the contest being held in Brazil, the time differences make it tricky for Australian fans to see the matches, with several being held in the early hours of the morning down under.

However, two Milton restaurants are trying hard to help football fanatics get their fill of the round ball game over the coming weeks.

Arrivederci Pizzeria will be providing food and, probably more importantly, coffee for viewers of the early morning games. While not everyone might fancy pizza for breakfast, Arrivederci owner David Silvestri told CourierMail.com that interest was high. The venue will also be serving beers from the countries taking part in the World Cup during licensed hours.

La Dolce Vita owner Guiseppe Virzi is also opening longer hours during the contest, but will no doubt be disappointed that both his native Italy and his second home Australia have gone out at the group stage. Several Brisbane Roar players who are currently part of the Socceroos are regulars at the café, giving Mr. Virzi an extra reason for supporting his adopted country.

Flyer printing and poster printing are cost effective ways to promote special offers or events such as the World Cup opening. Full game schedules and opening times can also be found on the venues’ Facebook pages.
