Tognini’s CafeDeli in Milton will be hosting an evening of wine and cheese tasting as a fundraising event for MND Queensland.
A degustation table will offer a number of cheeses which will be paired with Italian regional wines to bring out the best of the flavours and ensure maximum enjoyment of both. Those attending will learn about the different products and how to select suitable wines to complement a chosen cheese.
The evening will also give attendees the chance to meet and chat with board members from MND Queensland and learn about the work the organisation does to support patients and families living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
MND is a degenerative condition attacking the nerves in the brain which communicate with muscles, leading to weakness and stiffening of the muscles and loss of physical abilities. Although there is no known cure for MND, there are various therapies and medications which can reduce symptoms and slow the progression of the disease.
Fundraising and support organisations such as MND Queensland often use printing services to let people know about the services they provide or functions they are holding.
The event will be held at Tognini’s CafeDeli, located at 12 Baroona Road in Milton on Thursday 12th September from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The ticket price is $85 and bookings can be made online.
