Milton residents invited to sing Christmas carols

Residents of Milton are invited to come along to the annual Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols this December and get into the spirit of Christmas alongside plenty of renowned Australian entertainers and singers.

The Christmas Carols is a family-friendly, free event that is held each year to celebrate the magic of Christmas, and hundreds of children and their families come together to enjoy the magical night out. Considered a ‘must-do’ for many Brisbane residents, the night marks the beginning of Christmas each year for many local families.

The gates will open from 4pm, and there will be pre-show entertainment while people arrive and get settled before the children’s concert begins at around 5pm. The Christmas Carols will begin at approximately 7pm, and the concert will finish at around 9pm.

Other Christmas activities for families in Brisbane include the lighting of the 22-metre tall Christmas Tree in King George Square and the Christmas Parade, which brings the city to life each night in the lead up to Christmas Eve. The parade begins at Edward Street and concludes at King George Square.

Councils will often use Graphic Design Services to create logos for annual events like this.
