Lifeline is set to hold another edition of the Brisbane Bookfest during January.
The event is to be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Brisbane, which is easy to access by train or by ferry from suburbs as far away as St Lucia or as close as Milton. In June, Queensland booklovers helped to raise over $1 million for Lifeline’s 24-hour Crisis Support Line and it’s hoped a repeat of the event in January will be equally successful.
There will be 4km of tables of Books, all sorted into categories to make browsing or looking for that special book easier. For an event like this, sign and banner printing services are often used to help people find what they are looking for. As well as Books there will be magazines, CDs, DVDs, records, puzzles and board games. Entry is free and prices start from $1.
Trolleys will be available to hire for just $2 to save carrying a heavy load. There will be no plastic Bags so visitors should remember to bring their own. There is an ATM available on site in the main exhibition concourse. There will be a comfy Lifeline Revive Zone, where tired visitors can sit and relax.
The Bookfest will run from Saturday 19th January to Sunday 27th January. Previously there has been late night shopping until 9pm on Fridays.Get a Free Quote for Bags Get a Free Quote for Books
