Learning to have a restful mind is a great skill, and those living in and around Milton can join a course that aims to teach just that.
Meditation is the art of learning techniques to bolster presence, stillness and calm. By learning to meditate, it is said that people are practising self-care so that they can more successfully navigate the challenges of life, and increase resilience in areas of possible turmoil.
The Thursday course is to be run by Ben Adcock, who is a student of Master Lama Choedak Rinpoche from Tibet. Adcock has himself been teaching for 20 years, at the Manjushri Buddhist Centre and other venues.
The Friday course is to be taught by Jacky Howarth. She has 17 years of teaching scripture in schools. Also a student of Lama Choedak Rinpoche, Howarth combines her own meditative spiritual journey with yoga and mindfulness.
Both courses are structured around meditation theory and guided practice, with an opportunity to ask questions at the session.
Local brochure printing is one of the ways that Print shops can be involved in the distribution of advertising material.
