Fans of the one of the biggest pop acts of all time in the Milton area will surely be keen to buy tickets for Elton John’s farewell tour at the Suncorp Stadium in January.
Elton John is embarking on an ambitious five-year farewell international tour to mark his stellar presence and longevity in the pop industry. Elton has reigned for fifty years, having had huge hit singles in all of the decades in which he has worked, as well as winning many accolades. Working with long-time partner Bernie Taupin since the late 1960s, Elton is also acclaimed for his impact on the music industry, particularly for his work in the 1970s. Elton has sold in excess of 300 million records which makes him one of the most commercially successful artists the world has ever seen. Indeed, with singles success in 2021 in the UK, Elton became the first artist to have top ten hits across six decades.
The set list on the night will no doubt include ‘Rocket Man’, ‘Candle in the Wind’, ‘Your Song’ and ‘Sad Songs Say So Much’. And although he needs no introduction, Elton’s upcoming presence will be displayed on large Posters in the area displaying eye-catching graphic design to draw in and excite local fans.
