There is still time for rugby union fans from Milton to get tickets to the Wallabies game against France in Brisbane next month.
The game – the opening fixture in a three-Test tour – will be held at Suncorp Stadium, which is within easy walking distance for many Milton residents.
It is the first time France has toured the country since 2009, and the Australian players will no doubt be keen to show off their skills in front of home supporters. Keen fans could try banner printing to show their support for the Wallabies and their favourite players in green and gold.
With just a year to go until the next Rugby World Cup, the match will also be the chance for players to put their names forward to be picked for the Cup squad, and to try out some practised moves.
The Wallabies are now coached by Ewen McKenzie, who will know something of the French tactics, having coached Stade Francais in 2008. The Australians have never lost to France at the Brisbane venue, but the French team is still ranked in the world's top 10 and should not be written off. Many Wallabies supporters will remember the French beat them 33-6 in Paris in 2012.
The match takes place on Saturday, June 7th and kicks off at 8pm. Tickets are still available for most seats.
