The Committee for Brisbane will be presenting a trivia night with questions focused on different aspects of the history and culture of the city.
Previous events have proved so popular that the committee has decided to run another contest this year. Participants are encouraged to gather a team with a broad knowledge of all things Brisbane, including sport, music, local buildings and history. Wacky team names and fierce competition for the trophy will be the order of the night. Teams stuck for an answer will be able to purchase points to make up their score with all monies raised going to support a local charity.
Trivia nights are a great opportunity for those with a competitive streak but no sporting prowess to flex their intellectual muscles and shine. Although long-term residents of Brisbane might be expected to have the advantage, newcomers to a city often learn random facts about it that many locals are unaware of. At an event like this everyone might learn something about where they live.
Organisers of trivia events often use Stationery printers to create question and answer sheets.
The trivia night will be held at Newstead Brewing Milton, which is located at 67 Castlemaine Street in Milton, on Thursday 26th September from 6pm to 10pm. Tickets start at $55 and can be purchased online. Dinner and two drinks are included in the ticket price.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
