BeesnBeers to hold beeswax wrap class in Milton
A beeswax wrap making class will be held at The Common in Milton this July.
Environmentally friendly alternatives to every day throw away products are an option that can be presented to the general public for purchase. Beeswax wraps are a substitute product to plastic and foil food wraps that are often used several times a week for people to protect the home-made lunches they take to work or school. Beeswax wraps can be used many times over, eliminating the high quantity of food wraps that would otherwise end up in landfill.
Personalising beeswax wraps by self-creating them serves to produce an attractive product that workshop participants can take pride in using in their daily life. The Bees’n’Beers beeswax wrap class will teach the creation process from selecting beautiful fabrics to applying beeswax and other products to the fabric to complete the process. Participants can make as many beeswax wraps as they choose, while enjoying their complimentary beer or wine on arrival.
This event is being run by the Blank Canvas Co and hosted by The Common. For events such as this, poster printing campaigns can be ideal for advertising purposes.
The Bees’n’Beers beeswax wrap class will start from 12pm on Sunday, 21st June. The address is 35 Railway Terrace, Milton and the cost starts at $48.24. Tickets are available online.
