A theatre in Milton has been selected to host the album release event of an acclaimed Australian artist.
Fans of homegrown music in Milton can soon support Australia’s own Genevieve Chadwick. The Newcastle-based singer songwriter is launching her new album in the suburb at a special event this summer. Her third release to date, the much-anticipated LP is entitled “Best Left for the Willing” and highlights the artist’s blues and roots infused Americana music.

The new album was produced by Syd Green at the Jervis Bay Recording Studio. The release is Chadwick’s first since the 2014 release of “Playing for Change Presents Genevieve Chadwick”. Following a decade of reflection, the brand-new material has strong support from an ensemble that includes Peter Cornelius, Mick Malouf and Green. However, all 10 of the tracks recorded have Chadwick’s signature energy and powerhouse vocal style.
Those coming to the launch in Milton will get an opportunity to hear new songs on the night that may include “Ready and Able”, “Wildfire” and “Easy and Slow”.
Genevieve Chadwick will now perform live at the Milton Theatre on Saturday, December 6. Doors to the event will open at 7.30 pm and the theatre is situated at 69 Princes Highway in Milton.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
