A special art programme designed to empower teens and promote emotional wellbeing will launch in Geebung this winter.
Geebung education provider, Creative Connection, is offering families in the area a chance to enrol their children in a programme called “Teen Empower”. Designed for young people aged between 12 and 17 years old, the art-based course will start in July and runs until late September.
Educational enterprises often employ professionally designed Letterheads that feature their branding when making official communications with parents to help build trust.
Creative Connection offers carefully designed artful and psycho-educational counselling programmes to help young people of different ages live and enjoy a more heartful life. The programmes encourage safe, open and non-judgmental discussion in their sessions.
Topics for the upcoming educational experience include Understanding and Naming Feelings, Dealing with Change and Transitions, Friendship and Belonging, Self-Esteem and Strengths, Problem Solving, Managing Worries, Gratitude and Conflict Resolution.
The creative counselling programmes are taught by their designer, Jen Ryan (BArts, GradDipEd, MEd(Guid), BBus) the founder and director of Creative Connection. A qualified counsellor, Ryan is skilled at assisting children, tweens and teens to untangle their often-complicated emotional problems while getting creative through art.
The Teen Empower programme will now begin on July 24 and takes place at Creative Connection. The art studio is located at 26/344 Bilsen Road in Geebung.Get a Free Quote for Letterheads
