An Australian artist known for his unique blend of bluegrass and country swing will play live at a club in Geebung this spring.
Music fans in the area can witness professional entertainer, Michael Gant, in concert when he returns to the suburb this year. The guitarist and singer made his mark in the Australian country music scene after winning talent competitions and recording his first album.

The free gig will see Gant perform a selection of songs that may include tracks from his album Under the Southern Cross. Containing country music alongside original Australian ballads, the LP was recorded with respected Brisbane band, The Smokin Crawdads, and enjoyed airplay on national radio stations.
In 1992, Gant won both Tamworth’s Search for a Star Talent Quest and the Gympie Muster Music Talent Quest. Later, he was a finalist for the Starmaker Talent Search. His professional credits include playing with and supporting artists like Stella Parton, Troy Cassar-Daley, Lee Kernaghan, Gina Jeffreys and Felicity Urquhart.
