Geebung locals are once again invited to the Christmas High Tea, which will take place in early December.
This annual event is hosted by Quota Brisbane, a not-for-profit organisation whose members volunteer and support those in the local community.
The Christmas High Tea raises vital funds in support of the ‘Forgotten Women’, a grassroots organisation providing housing for women over the age of 55 – the fastest-growing homeless population in Australia.
Attendees will enjoy a delicious high tea, with an array of sweet and savoury options, finger food, and tea and coffee, with specialty beverages also available for purchase.
There will also be the opportunity to enter the annual raffle, to purchase items from the craft stall, and even to meet the special guest – Santa himself.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best Christmas attire for the High Tea, which promises to be a fun, festive gathering focused on supporting women experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
